Potomac Boat Club has a rich 140 year tradition of producing many of the best scullers in the world.   The club was proud that this hard working program produced six athletes and coaches who represented the United States in Rowing at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.  Through the last quadrennial, over 20 rowers from the program have represented the U.S. in elite level international competition.

A USRowing Training Center Partner, the PBC Open Sculling Program provides a focused training environment to senior men and women, in lightweight and heavyweight classes, to give each the best opportunity to reach the highest level of competitive performance.  The goal for these athletes is to finish in the Final A at National Selection Regattas, qualify for National Team Selection Camps, and race internationally.  The program also includes U23 and Junior summer camps focused on U23 /Junior World Championship Trials.
